About Exam :

Punjab Police Recruitment Board will conduct the Written Examination for the Posts of Written Based Test from 17th to 31 August 2021.

Written Examination :

Exam Pattern & Exam Syllabus for the Written Exam is as Follows:-

Exam Pattern :

  • Exam Will be Objective Type.
  • Questions will be in the form of MCQs.
  • There will be 2 Papers.
  • Total Number of Questions in each paper will be 100 questions.
  • Maximum marks for each paper will be 400 marks.
  • Every question will be of 4 marks each.
  • Time allocated for this exam will be of 120 minutes.

For District Police and Armed Police Cadres :

Minimum Height for Males5 feet 7 inches
Minimum Height for Females5 feet 2 inches

For Male Candidates (excluding Ex – Servicemen)a.1600 meters RUN to be completed in 7 minutes (only one chance).
b. Long Jump 3.65 meters (3 chances).
c. High Jump 1.10 meters (3 chances).
For Female Candidatesa.800 meters RUN to be completed in 5 minutes (only one chance).
b. Long Jump 3 meters (3 chances).
c. High Jump 0.90 meters (3 chances).
For Ex – Servicemen male Candidates for age up to and inculing 35 years1400 meters WALK & RUN to be completed in 9 minutes (only one chance) .
10 Si t – ups within 2 minutes
For Ex – Servicemen male Candidates for age more than 35 years1400 meters WALK &  RUN to  be co1mplet ed in 12 minutes (only one chance).
10 Sit ups within 3 minutes.

For Intelligence and Investigating Cadre :

Minimum Height for Females5 feet 1 inches
