RPSC Syllabus
The Rajasthan Public Service Commission sets up the exam syllabus for the RAS/ RTS exam. The only difference between the UPSC syllabus and state exams is that aspirants have to consider the state-based topics.
Prelims Exam Syllabus

RPSC Exam Admit Card
The exam admit card is generally released three weeks before the preliminary exam dates. The aspirants need to check up the official website for any updates. The date was earlier expected to be out by April but has been delayed due to the pandemic. Here are key things to note down before your admit card arrives.
- You can download admit card from the official portal of Rajasthan govt.
- After submitting your personal info, you can access the registration/ admit card.
- Name/ User ID
- Enrollment Number/ Application Number
- Password
- Your admit card is the main document that will let you enter the examination Centre.
- Ensure to carry aa hard copy of the admit card. Also take your photo ID along with it.

- Land on the official website to access your admit card – https://rpsc.rajasthan.gov.in/ or https://rpsc.rajasthan.gov.in/admitCard
- Fill in the asked details.
- Submit and the admit card will display.

RAS Exam Time-Table 2020(RPSC Syllabus)
The govt. of Rajasthan is likely to release the RAS 2020 exam dates soon after the Coronavirus pandemic settles down. However, the ongoing pandemic has become the new normal of people’s lives. Here are the previous year’s exam dates to get an overlook for 2020 dates.
- Prelims Exam (2018) – 5th Aug
- Mains Exam (2018) – 25th and 26th June (2019)
- Interview Date (2018) – Aug/Sept 2020 (Yet to be finalized)

Exam Pattern: –
The Rajasthan Administrative services is a highly challenging exam. It is modelled as per the IAS exam. So, take a closer look at the exam pattern to prepare your exam strategy.
The Rajasthan State and Subordinate Services Combined Exam take place in three stages:
- Preliminary Exam
- Mains Exam
- Final Interview/ Personality Test
The prelims exam is a screening test to shortlist the candidates for the Mains Exam. Also, the Math based topics are removed from the new exam pattern introduced in 2018.

The candidates need to go through the last year’s question papers to get a detailed idea about the exam pattern of the RAS exam. The qualifying aspirants are called for the Interview or Personality test but only after they score above the cutoff marks.
The Interview carries 100 marks and aims to test the aspirant’s attitude, personality and evaluate if he/she is fit for a job role.
