RPSC Exam

The RPSC exam is a state-level civil services exam managed by the Rajasthan government. It is one of the most respected government jobs in the Rajasthan. The exam is also called Raj State and Subordinate Services of Rajasthan. The RAS exam is the doorway for the aspirants to enter into the top-level jobs in Rajasthan government.

RAS Exam Eligibility: –

The recruitment for the state and subordinate services follow a set of defined eligibility conditions. It is same for most of the other states and subordinate services. Check out the below-given criteria to see if you fulfill the eligibility.

Age Limit

 

  • The minimum age should be 21 years as on 1st Jan 2020.
  • The maximum age should be 40 years as on 1st Jan 2020.

 

Please note that these may change as per the new notifications. But you don’t need to worry. We will keep you posted about any new changes.

However, there is a separate age limit for non-executive employees: –

  • The minimum age limit is 25 years.
  • The upper age bar is 45 years.

The RPSC also gives age relaxation for: –

  • The upper age limit does not apply to more than one category.
  • You can give multiple attempts as long as you qualify the age criteria.
  • There may be a post related physical test.
  • You must be an Indian citizen.
  • Candidates from outside Rajasthan can also apply for the exam but they will be treated under the General category.

Educational Qualification

The aspirant willing to apply for the RAS/RTS exam must hold a graduate degree in any stream from:

  1. University-affiliated by the Central govt.
  2. University-affiliated by the State govt.
  3. Any other institution valid under the Parliament Act or the UGC Act, 1956.

The Process to Apply for RAS 2020

 

  • You need to reach the official portal of Rajasthan govt. https://rpsc.rajasthan/gov.in/applyonline to apply online for the RAS/RTS exam. Tap on the “Recruitment” tab on the SSO thread of the website.
  • After One-Time-Registration, you can go ahead to apply.
  • You will then get your application ID after the application form and fee payment is done.

The Rajasthan Administrative services is a highly challenging exam. It is modelled as per the IAS exam. So, take a closer look at the exam pattern to prepare your exam strategy.

The Rajasthan State and Subordinate Services Combined Exam take place in three stages:

What do you mean by RPSC?
