The RPSC exam is a state-level civil services exam managed by the Rajasthan government. It is one of the most respected government jobs in the Rajasthan. The exam is also called Raj State and Subordinate Services of Rajasthan. The RAS exam is the doorway for the aspirants to enter into the top-level jobs in Rajasthan government.

RAS Exam Eligibility: –
The recruitment for the state and subordinate services follow a set of defined eligibility conditions. It is same for most of the other states and subordinate services. Check out the below-given criteria to see if you fulfill the eligibility.
Age Limit
- The minimum age should be 21 years as on 1st Jan 2020.
- The maximum age should be 40 years as on 1st Jan 2020.
Please note that these may change as per the new notifications. But you don’t need to worry. We will keep you posted about any new changes.
However, there is a separate age limit for non-executive employees: –
- The minimum age limit is 25 years.
- The upper age bar is 45 years.

The RPSC also gives age relaxation for: –
- Ex-Servicemen
- Ex-Prisoners
- Ex-employee or serving in the Rajasthan state administration
Please note that:
- The upper age limit does not apply to more than one category.
- You can give multiple attempts as long as you qualify the age criteria.
- There may be a post related physical test.
- You must be an Indian citizen.
- Candidates from outside Rajasthan can also apply for the exam but they will be treated under the General category.
Educational Qualification
The aspirant willing to apply for the RAS/RTS exam must hold a graduate degree in any stream from:
- University-affiliated by the Central govt.
- University-affiliated by the State govt.
- Any other institution valid under the Parliament Act or the UGC Act, 1956.
The Process to Apply for RAS 2020
- You need to reach the official portal of Rajasthan govt. https://rpsc.rajasthan/gov.in/applyonline to apply online for the RAS/RTS exam. Tap on the “Recruitment” tab on the SSO thread of the website.
- After One-Time-Registration, you can go ahead to apply.
- You will then get your application ID after the application form and fee payment is done.

RPSC Exam Admit Card
The exam admit card is generally released three weeks before the preliminary exam dates. The aspirants need to check up the official website for any updates. The date was earlier expected to be out by April but has been delayed due to the pandemic. Here are key things to note down before your admit card arrives.
- You can download admit card from the official portal of Rajasthan govt.
- After submitting your personal info, you can access the registration/ admit card.
- Name/ User ID
- Enrollment Number/ Application Number
- Password
- Your admit card is the main document that will let you enter the examination Centre.
- Ensure to carry aa hard copy of the admit card. Also take your photo ID along with it.

The govt. of Rajasthan is likely to release the RAS 2020 exam dates soon after the Coronavirus pandemic settles down. However, the ongoing pandemic has become the new normal of people’s lives. Here are the previous year’s exam dates to get an overlook for 2020 dates.

The Rajasthan State and Subordinate Services Combined Exam take place in three stages:
- Preliminary Exam
- Mains Exam
- Final Interview/ Personality Test
The prelims exam is a screening test to shortlist the candidates for the Mains Exam. Also, the Math based topics are removed from the new exam pattern introduced in 2018.

The candidates need to go through the last year’s question papers to get a detailed idea about the exam pattern of the RAS exam. The qualifying aspirants are called for the Interview or Personality test but only after they score above the cutoff marks.

What do you mean by RPSC?
