About CET:
The Government of Karnataka established common Entrance Test Cell in the year 1994 for conducting of entrance test and determinig the eligibility/merit, for admission to the first year or first semester of full time professional courses for Government share of seats in Medical, Dental, Indian systems of medicine and Homeopathy, Engineering / Architecture Courses, Farm Science i.e, B.sc. (Agriculture), B.sc. (Sericulture), B.sc (Horticultue), B.sc(Forestry), B.sc. Agri Bio Tech, BHSc.(Home Science), B.Tech (Agri.Engg), B.Tech (Food Technology), B.Tech (Dairy Tech), B.FSc.(Fisheries), B.Tech (Food Science & Tech)., B.Sc. (Agri.Marketing & Co-Op), B-Pharma, Pharma-D Courses.
About KCET:
KCET stands for the Karnataka Common Entrance Test. It is a prestigious state-level entrance test. The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) conducts KCET to offer admission into the first year of Engineering courses & various other professional courses in colleges spread across Karnataka.
Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) conducts the KCET annually. The Government of Karnataka established the Common Entrance Test Cell in the year 1994 to conduct the Entrance Test for Karnataka. candidates and the wards of Jammu & Kashmiri migrants for gaining admissions into professional courses.
KCET 2021 Exam Date
The KCET 2021 application form is expected to be available on the official website of Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) from February 4, 2021. The last date to submit the application form will be on March 5, 2021. Once the candidates have submitted their KCET application form, they can download the KCET 2021 admit card from the official website.
- Exam Dates: The KEA will conduct the KCET 2021 which is a Paper-Based Test (PBT) in the fourth week of April 2021
- Results: The conducting authority will declare results on the official website. Results will be based on the candidate’s performance in KCET 2021 and their marks in the 2nd PUC or any other equivalent exam.
Counselling: Candidates who have secured a rank in KCET 2021 will be called for the counselling process

KCET 2021 Exam Pattern
The KCET 2021 Exam Pattern is very important for the candidates to have an idea about it. Knowing the exam pattern will help the candidates get an overview of the distribution of questions and its types being asked in the exam.
KEA will conduct KCET as offline exam which is Pen & Paper-based Test (PBT) for all the aspirants. KCET 2021 will consist of 240 questions in total which comprise of the topics from Physics (60), Chemistry (60), Mathematics (60), and Biology (60).
The question paper will consist of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) i.e., objective type. Question paper is available only in the English Language. One mark will be awarded for every correct answer and no marks will be deducted for incorrect answers. The time given to complete the examination will be 1 hour 20 minutes for each subject.
