About PSPCL Assistant Lineman Recruitment:
Punjab State Power Corporation Limited (PSPCL) is looking for young & dynamic candidates with brilliant academic record for the 2632 posts of Clerk, Revenue Accountant, Junior Engineer/Electrical, Assistant Lineman & Assistant Sub Station Attendant. The Starting date of receiving online application is 15.03.2021 and the Closing date of online registration –/–/– up to 11:59pm.
Selection Process:
The Selection Process will be on the basis of Online Test.
About Exam:
Candidates who applied online will be called for examination. The dates of examination will be notified soon.

PSPCL Assistant Lineman Syllabus:
Static + Current affairs, General Knowledge :- Questions will be asked from Indian polity, Indian Administration, Indian Independence Movement, Indian Constitution and Law, Current (National and International) Events, Right to Information, Indian Society, Gender Issues, Basics of Computer Skills and Awareness, Human Rights, Internal Security and Terrorism, Secularism, Environment, General Science, Relations between India and its Neighboring Countries, Indian Economy & Statics.
Basic Computer Knowledge :- Basic of Computers, Computer Organization, Generations of computer, Input & Output Device, Shortcuts & Basic knowledge MS word, MS Excel, MS power point, Memory Orientation, Internet, LAN, WAN, Modem, Computer Abbreviations, Modern day Technology. Remember short cut Tricks of MS Word, MS Excel & Computer Abbreviations.
Logical Reasoning :- Questions will be from topics- Analogies, Similarities, Differences, Space visualization, Problem solving, Analysis and Judgment, Decision-making, Visual memory, Discrimination, Observation, Relationship, Concepts, Arithmetical reasoning, Verbal and figure classification, Arithmetical number series, Abilities to deal with abstract ideas and symbols and their relationships, Arithmetical computations and other analytical functions.
Numerical Aptitude :- This paper will include questions on problems relating to Number Systems, Computation of Whole Numbers, Decimals and Fractions and relationship between Numbers, Fundamental arithmetical operations, Percentages, Ratio and Proportion, Averages, Interest, Profit and Loss, Discount, Mensuration, Time and Distance, Ratio and Time, Time and Work, etc.
General English :- Mainly Focus on the topics like Synonyms, Antonyms, Sentence Error, Sentence correction, fill in the blanks, Comprehension & Cloze Test etc.
Note : On the basis of marks secured in the online examination, candidates shall be called for document checking, wherein, verification of original documents/certificates would be done by the document checking committee.
