About National Sugar Institute, Kanpur:

The National Sugar Institute established in 1936, is involved in research, training and advisory services to the sugar and allied industry, and functions under the Department of Food and Public Distribution of the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution.

Entrance Examination Pattern:

  • Examination shall be conducted at about 15 Centers in various states.
  • For each course the examination paper shall be of one hour duration.
  • The question shall be of multiple choice type where in correct alternative shall have to be selected.
  • The examination shall be in Hindi and English language.
  • There shall not be negative marking.
  • The paper shall be contains 40 questions of equal marks.
