To become a constable in Haryana Police, you have to go through these four steps mentioned below and pass all the stages successfully, step by step only then you will be admitted to the post of Constable in Haryana Police.
(i) Knowledge Test – (Written Examination)
(ii) Physical Screening Test (PST)
(iii) Physical Measurement Test (PMT)
(iv) Scrutiny of Documents

Haryana Police Constable Exam Pattern: Knowledge Test
The questions asked in Haryana Police Constable Exam will be from the following topics: General Knowledge and Current Affairs / General Knowledge, Reasoning Ability and Mental Aptitude / Logical Ability and Mental Aptitude, Numerical Ability / Numerical Ability, Agriculture / Agriculture, Animal Husbandry / Animal Husbandry, Computer Knowledge, General English, General Hindi

Altogether 100 questions will be asked from all these subjects. In each question you will be given four choices out of which only one option will be correct.
You will be awarded 0.8 marks for each correct answer in the exam. There will be no negative marking for any wrong answer given by the candidates (No Negative Marking).
The paper of Haryana Police Constable will be of total 80 marks.
Haryana Police Constable Exam Pattern: Physical Screening Test (PST)
Those candidates who have passed the written examination of Haryana Police Constable, the same students are called for the second stage, in which your physical aptitude and endurance are tested.
This is a qualifying type of exam in which you are not given any marks.
In Haryana Police Constable Physical Screening Test (PST), candidates will be run, which you have to complete within the stipulated time.
(i) Male candidates will be required to complete 2.5 kilometer race in maximum 12 minutes.
(ii) Women candidates will be required to complete a race of 1 kilometer within a maximum of 6 minutes.
(iii) Ex-Servicemen Ex-servicemen will be required to complete the race of 1 kilometer in maximum 5 minutes.

Haryana Police Syllabus will be as follows:
General Studies – In this purpose questions about the general knowledge of the society around the candidates to test the awareness of the surrounding activities. History of India (mostly Haryana) and its surrounding country, culture, geography, economical landscape and constitution of India and state administration, political series of country, five year plan, Haryana’s contribution to national movement.
Agriculture – Knowledge of history / facts of agriculture, fruits and vegetables, crop production, soil, fertility, fertilizer, irrigation and loss, weed / pest control, types of crops, soil and land, horticulture, price of plants and deforestation etc. .
Animal Husbandry – Animal nutrition and nutritional value, animal breed, importance of animal, livestock farming, dairy, diseases and traits in animals etc.
Reasoning – This will include both oral and non-verbal questions. Questions will be asked from analogs, similarities and differences, problem solving, relations, arithmetic calculations and other analytical functions, Venn diagrams, the ability to see and differentiate relationship concepts and patterns, etc.
Current Affairs – Questions will be asked from Indian Current Events, General Science, General Knowledge. The focus will mainly be on national and international news, important dates, current science, technology, sports and current affairs of culture.
Numerical Ability – The test of arithmetic and numerical abilities will cover the number system including simplification, decimal, fraction, LCM, HCF, ratio and ratio, percentage, average, profit and loss, discount, simple and compound interest, menstruation, time questions. Physical Screening Test (PST) :-
Haryana Police Syllabus 2020 :All Candidates, who qualified the Physical Measurement Test shall be put to a Physical Screening Test, which will be of only qualifying in nature, to judge their physical fitness and endurance. Candidates, equal seven times no. of vacancy in each category will be called for PST. The standards prescribed for this test shall be as under:-

Physical Measurement Test (PMT) :-
► Physical Measurement Test shall be of qualifying nature only.
Height :
(i) General Category – Male(170 cms); Female(158 cms)
(ii) Eligible reserve categories as per latest existing Government Policy – Male (168 cms); Female (156 cms)
Chest :
(i) General Category – Male (83 cms (un-expanded) to 87 cms (Expanded))
(ii) Eligible reserve categories as per latest existing Government Policy – Male(81 cms (un-expanded) to 85 cms (Expanded))
► In case of Ex-serviceman, Schedule Caste, Schedule Tribe and backward classes category, relaxation in physical standard to the extent of 1 inch in height and 1 inch in chest measurement shall be given.
Scrutiny of Documents :-Haryana Police Syllabus 2020
All the candidates who have qualified the Physical Screening Test shall be called for the scrutiny of documents. All other candidates shall stand eliminated from further process of selection.
Education (maximum 07 marks): Candidate with higher education i.e. with Graduate degree in any stream from a recognized University shall get four (04) marks: while, candidate with post Graduate degree in any stream from a recognized University shall get additional three (03) marks.
