Candidates must have proper knowledge of selection process that they get an idea of “What type of tests/exam will they face for this recruitment?” Here we are providing detailed process of selection, so aspirants can prepare for their best performance in each stage of selection process.

Selection Procedure:- After scrutiny of applications candidates will go under following tests :

→ Physical Standards Test (PST)/ Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
→ Written Test
→ Extra-curricular activities and special skills

Physical Standards Test (PST):-

The PST will Carry No Marks. Measurement of the height, weight and chest (only for Males) of the candidates will be taken after which the candidate will be inspected by a medical officer for preliminary checkup like knocked knee, vision test, color blindness test, flat foot, varicose vein, physical deformities etc.

Physical Efficiency Test (PET):-

The Physical Efficiency Test will carry 40 marks. It will have 2 (two) events viz :

Male Candidates

a) Race (Max 20 marks) : Those who qualify in the PST  will be subjected to 3.2 km race to be completed within 14 minutes (840 seconds).
b) Long Jump (Max 20 marks) : Minimum 335 cm for long jump (3 chances to be given and the longest valid jump rounded off to the nearest cm will be considered for awarding marks).

Female Candidates

a) Race (Max 20 marks) : Those who qualify in the PST will be subjected to 1600 mtrs. race to be completed within 8 minutes.
b) Long Jump (Max 20 marks) : Minimum 244 cm for long jump (3 chances to be given and the longest valid jump rounded off to the nearest cm will be considered for awarding marks).

•• Important Points ••

► A candidate gets eliminated from the recruitment process as soon as he/she fails to qualify in any PST or PET. A candidate may have to take the PETs in any sequence.
► Individual statement of marks signed by the candidate and the examiner conducting the race/ tests will be given to the candidates. This will be given to a candidate when he/she is eliminated from the Test or on completion of all the Tests as the case may be. Marks for extra-curricular activities and special skills will not be announced instantly as this may involve further verification of information.
► Video recording with date/ time stamp of the PST and PET events for each candidate would be undertaken. Performances will also be announced through PA system.
► All Candidates will be subjected to biometric recordings for identification.

Written Test:- Written Test will be conducted throughout the State on one day at each district HQ.

  • The Exam Will be of Written Objective Type.
  • The Written Test Will be of 100 Question for Each Correct Answer will get half Mark.
  • The Question Paper Level will be of 9th & 10th Class.
  • There Will be No Negative Marking.

Extra-curricular activities and special skills :-
