About Exam :-

Odisha Police Constable Syllabus All those Candidates Who Filled their Application Form and Found Eligible Will gave the PMT/PET Exam on the Date –/–/2021. Selected Candidates will be called for Written Exam. More Details about the Odisha Police Constable Exam is provided below. Candidates must have proper knowledge of the selection process that they get an idea of “What type of tests/exam will they face for this recruitment?” Here we are providing a detailed process of selection, so aspirants can prepare for their best performance in each stage of selection process.

Physical Measurement Test (PMT) 20 Marks :-

Candidate must have the following minimum physical standard.

b)	SC/ST	163 cm	153 cm
(ii)	Chest (Only for men)	Normal	Expanded

(iii)	Weight	Men	Women (Only for Civil Constables)

Physical Efficiency Test (PET) :-

The Physical Efficiency Test will carry 35 Marks.

For Men (All Categories Allotted Marks- 35)

Swimming (40 Meters) (Qualifying)
Swimming 40 Meters	If 40 Meters Covered within 10 Minutes	Qualified

Additional Marks :

Driving Test	05 Marks
Educational Achievements:	05 Marks
Written Test	35 Marks

About Odisha Police Constable Exam Pattern :-

• The Exam will be of Objective Type.
• The Exam will be of Odia & English Language Only.
• The Question Paper will be Based on 10+2 Level.
• The Question Paper will be Based on English Language, Arthemetics, General Knowledge, Aptitude & Logical Reasoning etc.
  • Sports Achievements:- 15 Marks
  • National Cadet Corps (NCC): 05 Marks

NCC ‘A’ Certificate	01 Marks

NCC ‘C’ Certificate	05 Marks

Medical Examination :-

Candidates must not have knock knees, bow legs, flat foot, varicose veins, squint in eyes, poor vision, colour blindness, inability to flex the fingers properly and any other obvious deformities. He should have no impediment in speech and hearing.

About Odisha Police Constable Exam Syllabus :-

English Language:

It will be test of English comprehension. Questions will be asked from antonyms, synonyms, grammar, one word substitution, idioms & phrases, Passage, Cloze Test, Jumble Sentences etc.

General Knowledge :

Culture and Religion, Soil, Rivers, Mountains, Ports, Inland Harbours, Freedom Movement, Sports : championships/Winners/Terms/No. of Players, Defence, Wars and Neighbours, Current Affairs, Important National Facts about India, Heritage and Arts, Dance, History, Languages, Capitals and Currencies, National : Bird/ Animal/ Sport/ Flower/ Anthem/ Song/ Flag/ Monuments, Eminent Personalities, Common Names, Full forms and Abbreviations, Discoveries, Diseases and Nutrition, Award and Authors.

Quantitative Aptitude:

Questions will be asked from Simplification, Average, Percentage, Time & Work, Area, profit & Loss, Simple & Compound Interest, Time & Speed, Investment, HCF LCM, Problem On Ages , Bar Graph, Pictorial Graph, Pie Chart. Candidates need to be focus on Basics of Mathematics & Simplification.

Logical Reasoning:

The purpose of the logical reasoning section is to test the candidate’s ability to identify patterns, logical links and rectify illogical arguments. It will include a wide variety of logical reasoning questions such as syllogisms, logical sequences, analogies, etc. However, visual reasoning will not be tested.

Arithmetics :

Number system, BODMAS, Decimals, Fractions, LCM, HCF, Ratio and Proportion, Percentages, Mensuration, Time and Work; Time and Distance, Simple and Compound Interest, Profit and Loss, Algebra, Geometry and Trigonometry, Elementary Statistics, Square root, Age Calculations, Calendar & Clock, Pipes & Cistern etc.
