About Exam :

HP Forest Department will conduct the Physical Efficiency Test (Qualifying Nature) for the Posts of Forest Guards on 21.09.2021 to 20.10.2021.

• Exam will be held in offline mode (OMR sheet).
• Exam Will be of Objective type.
• Exam will consists 85 questions.
• Duration of Exam is 75 min.
• No negative marks for wrong answer.
• Candidates need to carry black or blue pen.

The test of Arithmetical and Numerical abilities will cover Number Systems, Simplification, Decimals, Fractions, L.C.M., H.C.F., Ratio & Proportion, Percentage, Average, Profit & Loss, Discount, Simple & Compound Interest, Mensuration, Time & Work, Time & Distance, Tables & Graphs, etc.

Reasoning :-
Number Ranking, Syllogistic Reasoning, Decision Making, Visual Memory, Judgment.,Clocks & Calendars, Problem Solving, Non Verbal Series, Coding-Decoding, Blood Relations, Number Series, Directions, Embedded Figures, Alphabet Series, Mirror Images, Arithmetical Reasoning, Analogies, Arrangements, Cubes and Dice etc.

General Knowledge :-
Himachal Pradesh forest, environment, forest animal, Indian History, Culture, Human Resource Development Index of India, Sports and Entertainment, Development of Science and Technology In India, Indian Geography, Economy, and Agriculture, Indian National Movement, Biotechnology and Health Issues etc.

General Science :-
Physics of general standard like weight, mass, volume, refection, refraction, transparency, law of motion and gravitation etc. Chemistry like chemical reaction, different acids, bases and gases, salt, metals and non-metals, chemical formula balancing and their facts etc. Biology or life science some topics are about cell & its structure, human respiratory system, sympton and precaution of various disease etc.
