About Exam :-
DSSSB has conduct the written exam and physical test for the selection of fire operator. The written exam was consist 100 multiple choice questions each question was carry one equal mark. The mode of the written examination was online. Candidates who applied for this post have given the written examination and physical test both. All the Candidate have to clear both the exam for the final selection.
DSSSB Fire Operator Qualifying Marks :-
For Written Examination :-
The minimum qualifying marks for one Tier/Two Tier written examination (Objective/Descriptive Type) is as under (pls. refer notification dated 26/04/2013 available on the website of the Board
- General : 40%
- OBC (Delhi) : 35%
- SC/ST/PH(PwD) : 30%
- Ex-servicemen will be given 5% relaxation in their respective categories subject to a minimum of 30%.
For Physical Test (Essential For Male) :-
1. Minimum Height : 165 cms. (relax able of 5 cms for hilly area people)
2. Minimum Weight : 50 kgs.
3. Chest (normal) : 81 cms. Chest (expanded) : 86.5 cms.
4. Eye Sight : 6/6
DSSSB Fire Operator Expected Cut Off Marks :-
A candidate will have to qualify in each of the three events as above and shall have to obtain minimum 33% marks in aggregate to be declared pass. The Board reserves its right to prescribe a minimum cut off mark for any post as per availability of candidates. The final merit list shall be prepared based on the total percentage of marks obtained by the candidate in the three criterion set forth for the selection i.e. Physical Endurance Test, Driving Test and the Written test.
