About Delhi CET Entrance Exam :-
Delhi Common Entrance Test (CET) is an Exam for Admission To Full-Time Diploma Programmes in Polytechnics. It is the Most Popular Exam in Union Territory of Delhi. The Department of Training & Technical Education plans to admit students to first semester/ first year for the academic session 2021-22 for various Full-time Diploma programmes (Engineering and non-Engineering) being offered at Institutes affiliated to the Board of Technical Education (BTE), Delhi, through the Common Entrance Test (CET- 2021).
Eligibility Criteria :-

| Test-1 | For candidates applying for Diploma Courses in Applied Art, Architectural Assistantship, Art for Drawing Teachers, Automobile Engineering, Cosmetology & Health, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Civil Engineering (Construction Technology), Civil Engg. (Public Health & Environmental Engineering),Computer Engineering Electrical Engineering, Electronics &Communication Engineering, Electronics Engineering (Digital Electronics), Electronics Engineering (Medical Electronics), Fashion Design, Garment Fabrication Technology,Information Technology Enabled Services & Management (ITES&M)Interior Design, Instrumentation & Control,Library & Information Science, Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engg. (Maintenance Engg.) Medical Laboratory Technology,Polymer Technology, Printing Technology,Production Engineering, Tool & Die Making | The candidate should have passed 10th class or any other examination recognized asequivalent to 10th class examination, conducted by CBSE / other boardwith minimum 35% aggregate or 3.7 CGPA in Science, Mathematics &English. The subjects Science, Mathematics and English are compulsory and the candidate should have passed in each of these three subjects. Note: 1. Candidates passing /qualifying class 10th under the grading system should have obtained minimum pass grade in the compulsory subjects i.e., Science, Mathematics and English. 2. Any other criteria as prescribed by CBSE in new pattern |
| Test-2 | For candidates applying for Modern Office Practice (English), Modern Office Practice (Hindi) | The candidate should have passed Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (Class XII) of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), Delhi in any stream of 10+2 or any other examination recognized as equivalent to the Senior Secondary School Certificate with minimum 35% marks in aggregate of the best three subjects including English for MOP (Eng.) and Hindi or Sanskrit for MOP (Hindi). The candidate should have obtained pass marks in the relevant subject i.e. English for MOP (English) and Hindi/Sanskrit for MOP (Hindi). |
| Test-3 | For candidates applying for Pharmacy | Passed 12th Std. examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the Mathematics / Biology (Botany and Zoology). |
| Test-4 | For candidates applying for lateral entry (For Delhi region candidates only). | Passed 12th Std examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the Mathematics / Biology ( Botany and Zoology) OR 12th Science (with Mathematics as one of the Subject) or 12th Science with Vocational OR 12th Science with Technical OR 10th + (2years ITI) with appropriate Trade in that order shall be eligible for admission to Second Year Diploma Course(s) of appropriate Programme. The ITIs/ ITCs must be from Institutes located only in Delhi and affiliated to DGE&T/BTE, Delhi.ITI student who had already appeared for his/her final exam has to submit their passed certificate / mark sheet on or before Nov, 2021 otherwise his / her provisional admission stands cancelled. 10th + (2years ITI) with appropriate Trade against 20% supernumerary seats in analogous disciplines of Architectural Assistantship, Automobile Engineering, Civil Engineering, Civil Engineering (Construction Technology), Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electronics Engineering (Digital Electronics), Electronics Engineering (Medical Electronics), Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering (Maintenance Engineering), – Polymer Technology, Production Engineering and Civil Engineering, (Public Health & Environmental Engineering), Information Technology Enabled Services & Management (ITES &M) Tool & Die Making. |
About Age Limit For Delhi CET :-
Candidates should be below 21 Years (24 years for 10+2 Vocational Engineering Stream and ITI pass out candidates for admission against 10% supernumerary seats in Second Year and 30 Years for women candidates for 12th based courses) as on 1st August of the admission year. The upper age limit will be relaxed by 5 years in case of SC/ST/PH candidates. And 2 years for women candidates. Maximum age relaxation given to any candidate will, however, not exceed 5 years. No age relaxation is admissible to the candidates other than those specified above.
Application Fee :-
The fee (in Indian Rupees) for CET-2021 is Rs 400/- + Rs 15/- bank charges + Rs 2/- (service tax). The fee once paid will not be refunded (full or partial) under any circumstances. Multiple payments of fees will not be refunded under any circumstances.
Mode of CET Fees Submission :-
- (a) The fee may be submitted either by any credit/debit card/ net banking.
- (b) The fee may be submitted by challan in any branch of corporation bank in India.
