Section I (Physics) and Section II (Chemistry) are mandatory, while candidates can select from Section III (Mathematics) and Section IV (Biology) to do one section. If the candidate tries both Section III and Section IV, the strongest of the three parts i.e. It will be analyzed in Section I, Section II and then Section III or IV.
