Selection Process for Bihar Police SI Recruitment:
The selection process for the Bihar Police SI Recruitment is depending on the four steps. The steps are given below:-
- Preliminary Exam
- Main Written Exam
- Physical Eligibility Test
- Medical Examination
About the Exam:
All the candidates who have successfully filled the application form for the Bihar Police SI, they have to give an exam. The exam will be organized soon and the exam date for the application is not announced till now but it will be announced very soon on the official website of Bihar Police. The pattern of Exam:
Exam pattern is given below:-
- The Exam will be Held Written Objective Type.
- There are two phases of the exam i.e. preliminary and main examination.
About Preliminary Examination:
- The Exam will be Held Written Objective Type.
- The Pre Exam will be organized for Minimum 200 Marks with 100 Questions.
- Candidates will get 2 hours of time for the pre-exam.
- The examiner will cut 0.2 marks for each and every wrong answer (Exam will be a negative marking).

Important Note: 20 candidates will be informed of the main exam from the pre-exam.
About Main Examination:
- The Exam will be Held Written Objective Type.
- The main written examination shall comprise of two papers for the selected candidates.
- Candidates will get two hours for every paper.
- Selected candidates have to give the answers of 100 questions for 200 marks in the first paper.
- in the first paper, candidates have to perform at least 30%.
- First paper marks will not include in the merit list.
- Candidates have to give the answers of 100 questions for 200 marks in the second paper in General Studies, General Science, Civics, Indian History, Indian Geography, Mathematics & Mental Ability.

About Exam Syllabus:

General Knowledge and the Current Events Under the Syllabus: Here you have to train yourself on Culture and Religion, Soil, Rivers, Mountains, Ports, Inland Harbours, Freedom Movement, In the Sports: championships, Winners, Terms, and No. of the Players, Defence, Wars and Neighbours, Current Affairs, Important National Facts about India, Heritage and Arts, Dance, History, Languages, Capitals, and Currencies, In the National: Bird, Animal, Sport, Flower, Anthem, Song, Flag, Monuments, Eminent Personalities, Common Names, Full forms and Abbreviations, Discoveries, Diseases and Nutrition, Award and Authors.
General Hindi: In the general Hindi you have to mainly Focus on topics like Synonyms, Antonyms, Sentence Error, Sentence correction, fill in the blanks, Comprehension & Cloze Test, etc.
General Studies: Here the questions will be asked from Indian History, Indian Polity, Current Events, Geography, Economy, etc. The focus will be on Current national & International events, banking, sports, etc.
General Science: General Science will include testing knowledge of matters of everyday observations and experience in their scientific aspect as may be expected of any educated person who didn’t study science as a subject. Here you will also face the Knowledge of the Subjects like Physics, Chemistry and Biology from the level of 12th Standard.
Civics, Indian History, Geography of India: In Social Study will include the questions like Indian History, Culture, Geography, Environment, Economic aspects, Freedom Movement, major features of Indian Agriculture & Natural Resources and Indian Constitution & Polity, Panchayati Raj, community development and 5 years Plan. It will also include General Knowledge of the Geographical and Political condition of Bihar.
Mathematics: In mathematics, all the questions will be asked from Simplification, Average, Percentage, Time & Work, Area, profit & Loss, Simple & Compound Interest, Time & Speed, Investment, HCF LCM, Problem On Ages, Bar Graph, Pictorial Graph, Pie Chart, and Data Interpretation, etc.
Mental Ability Test: In this stage, you will be asked questions like on analogies, similarities and differences, space visualization, problem-solving, analysis, judgment, decision making, visual memory, discriminating observation, relationship concepts, verbal and figure classification, arithmetical number series, non-verbal series, etc.
Minimum Marks for Qualify:
- SC/ST and Female Candidates Will be 32% minimum marks for qualify
- Extremely Backward Class Candidates Will be 34% minimum marks qualify
- Backward Class Candidates Will be 36.5% minimum marks for qualify
- General Category Candidates Will be 40% minimum marks for qualify
