There are many types of educational qualifications that are accepted by the AIMS of New Delhi. So all types of educational qualifications are mentioned below:-

1. 1. B.Sc. Nursing on Honours/ B.Sc Nursing from any Nursing Council recognized Institute or University of India;
      Or
      B.Sc (undergraduate Nursing course)/Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing from any Nursing Council recognized Institute or the University of India; (ii) registered the name candidate as Nurse & Midwife in State/Indian Nursing Council.
   2. Registered the name of the candidate as Nurses & Midwife with State / Indian Nursing Council
      OR
   1. Diploma in General Nursing Midwifery from Nursing Council of India/State Nursing Council recognized Institute / Board or Council
   2. Registered the name of the candidate as Nurses & Midwife in State / Indian Nursing Council
   3. At least Two Years’ Experience candidate in a minimum 50 bedded Hospital after acquiring the educational qualification mentioned above as applicable.

Step by Step Process to Apply Online:-

• First, go to the official website of AIMS i.e. www.aimsexams.org.
• Then click on the “Recruitment” option.
• Now simply click on the “Nursing Officer” option.
• Now have to click on Nursing Officer Recruitment Common Eligibility Test(NORCET)-2020.
• Then You Will be automatically redirected to the Login Page.
• Here You have to click on the “New Registration” Option.
• Now Click on the “Click Here” Option then “Proceed” Option.

Step No. 1.

• Registration of the Applicant: The applicant needs to full fill the correct basic details like Full Name, DOB, Category, Gender, Email, contact number, and more. And then don’t forget to collect the login credentials.
• Once the applicant completes the first registration, he/she will get SMS and email with the notice of login credentials. (Note- If any applicant does not get the notice then immediately call helpline).
• Once you get the credentials then you have login with that and change your password, the length of the password should be 6-10 characters. (Note- Don’t forget your password and also don’t share your password with anyone).

Qualification and Adress Details of the Applicants: Carefully and correctly fill the qualification and address details.

Fees Payment for Registration: Applicants can pay their registration fees online with DEBIT CARD, CREDIT CARD, NET Banking.

NOTE- After paying the registration fees please take a printout of registration payment receipt and keep that receipt with yourself.

Step No. 5.

City Choice for Examination:

Carefully select a perfect city for examination from the list of available cities. The city availability list shows the real-time status of seats in a city. (NOTE- Once selected a city then you can’t change that city anymore).

Step No. 6. 

Upload an Image of the Applicant:

The applicant needs to upload a recently taken clear photograph, Signature, and Thumb Impression in JPG/ JPEG format. The digital size of the Photograph file must be within 50 KB-100 KB and the digital size of the Signature and Left Thumb Impression file must be within 20 KB-100 KB, failing which application will not be able to upload the images and complete the registration process. The provided photograph needs to be taken within 6 months from the on-line registration opening date.

Take a Print of Application Form:

After completing the registration the applicants are requested to take a print of the registration and keep with then. (NOTE- Check all the information’s filled in the form before the final submission of the registration form).

The Selection Process for AIIMS New Delhi Nursing Officer (NORCET):

• AIIMS New Delhi Selects the candidates by taking Online (CBT) mode Examination.

Exam Pattern :

The Exam Pattern is as follows:

• The Exam will be Online Written Type.
• The Exam will be of Total 200 question/Marks (180 Questions related to subjects & 20 Question related to General Knowledge & Aptitude)
• The Exam Time Duration of 03 Hours (180 Minutes).
• There will be negative marking of 1/3 marks for each wrong answer.

Qualifying Marks-

1. The qualifying marks in Recruitment Examination will be 50% for UR/EWS, 45% for OBC and 40% for SC & ST.
2. For PWBD additional 5% relaxation will be given irrespective of the category. Accordingly, qualifying marks for PWBD will be as follows UR/EWS-PWBD- 45%, OBC-PWBD-40% and SC/ST-PWBD-35%). As per DOPT office memorandum No. No.36035/02/2017-Estt (Res) dated 15.01.2018 same relaxed standard should be applied for all the candidates with Benchmark Disabilities whether they belong to Unreserved/SC/ST/OBC. No further relaxation of standards will be considered or admissible in favour of any candidate from any category whatsoever.
